First "Fair Backgammon" tournament will be in Jalta, Crimea, Ukraine from 1 till 5 May during Festival of Nard "Jalta Meetings" promoted by Russian Federation of Nard and Backgammon.

There will be three special tournaments with new balanced scoring system proposed in the book "Fair Backgammon Tournament Rules":

1. Team competition with dublicated rolls (two players in team, max 8 teams) and new balanced scoring system

Format:
1.1. Preliminary round in each group (4 teams)
3 matches in round, 4 games in each match.
Fixed time for this round - 80 minutes
1.2. Semifinals (each match 8 games)
Fixed time for this round - 60 minutes
1.3. Final and match for the third place ( each match 8 games)
Fixed time for this round - 60 minutes

2. Italian Tournament in Groups (4 players in one group, max 4 groups)

3 rounds with 3 matches in each round. 4 games in each match.

3. Team competition with dublicated rolls and old scoring system ( 4 players in one team, max 4 teams).

All matches will be played on special sensor boards "BEZMA" (project "Fair Backgammon").

Special software for TD to manage the entire tournament will be used.

IMPORTANT: For Ukraine you don't need any kind of visa from EUROPE!!!
